Lip smokers lines
Due to the dynamic nature of the upper lip traditional fillers such as restylane and hydrafill have mixed results. This is because as the upper lip moves a lot the product is quickly broken down. Hence we find that we need to use much more durable products or deeper treatments.
Silicone Micro droplet injections
Although fillers such as Restylane and Hydrafill give excellent results in most areas of the face, there are a number of areas, such as smoker's lines around the mouth, which can be more difficult to treat. Silicone is a very good treatment for this area and also for softening resistant acne scarring.
Silicone works in a different way to fillers such as Restylane. Micro-injections of medical grade Silicone are injected into the wrinkle area. This causes small amounts of collagen to form around the droplet and cosmetically produces a filling result.
