Medicetics advanced voluma training- setting new standards.

Medicetics has been chosen as one of two national training centres for advanced facial aesthetics by Allergan, the producers of botox. The course teaching is run entirely by the medical faculty at Medicetics.

Medicetics is recognised as one of the most advanced aesthetic clinics in the UK. We have rigorously high standards which we are happy to pass on through training for selected advanced Medical Professionals in UK and Ireland.

The course was set up in recognition of the need for training for Doctors in some of the more advanced facial treatments such as voluma treatments.

What is a voluma juvederm treatment?

Voluma is the latest evolution of hyaluronic acid fillers developed by Juvederm- juvederm voluma. It is according to Dr Geoff Mullan (Medical Director at Medicetics) "a game changer". He believes that it is different as it allows a much more global approach to facial aesthetics. "Non-surgical facial aesthetics is no longer about chasing lines and anti-ageing. With the advent of non-surgical nose jobs, mid-face enhancement, chin correction and facial reshaping we are now able to beautify the face as well as restoring the contours of youth. In the right hands voluma is a very powerful tool."

Who runs the course

The Medicetics Advanced Facial and Innovative Aesthetics (MAFIA) course is run by Medicetics in conjunction with Allergan. Attendees are Doctors who have a significant history in the field of non-surgical treatments, most are medical directors of clinics who have been doing similar treatments for many years or practitioners with a number of years of experience. The course is not open to medical professionals who have a basic experience. The course is not an introduction to new treatments as much as an augmentation of pre-existing skills.

How do I get on the course

To get on the course you have to apply to your local Allergan representative. Unfortunately we currently do not accept direct applications to Medicetics.

Who is Allergan

Allergan are the largest producer of products for facial aesthetics in the world. Botox is actually a trademarked name owned by Allergan of the botulinum serotype A toxin. They also own Juvederm, the leading hyaluronic acid in the industry, voluma is part of the juvederm family.
